Symone Jennings

September 2013-April 2014

 

As an Student Ambassador Assistant, Symone assisted in many initiatives focused on spreading the entrepreneurial mindset throughout New Brunswick and co-chaired YES Atlantic,  a regional youth entrepreneurship summit that promoted entrepreneurship as a career choice and inspired youth to turn their dreams in to a reality.  In addition to being an Intern, Symone served as a PDC Student Ambassador where she co-organized the Be-Your-Own-Boss event for post-secondary students in the Fredericton region, and became the UNB Business Faculty's  Co-op Student of the Month.

 

Symone  is a creative, driven self-starter, and a recent graduate of the University of New Brunswick's BBA program (Honors in Marketing). She has experience in marketing and communications for varying industries. She has developed marketing and promotional materials for UNB Athletics, increased the online social media presence for Sweethtooth Cakery, a customized cake shop.  

 

Symone graduated from UNB with a BBA in the Spring of 2014 and since that time had been a Co-Op Outreach Coordinator for the Faculty of Computer Science at UNB. Symone will be joining the Pond-Deshpande Centre in August 2015 as a Program Assistant for the Student Ambassador Program.
