Sara Taaffe

Spring & Summer 2015

 

 

 

As the Summer Intern at the PDC, Sara will be working on a variety of projects to assist entrepreneurs and changemakers throughout their journeys. She will be developing a database of funding opportunities for entrepreneurs, assisted in mapping the Social Enterprise Ecosystem of Atlantic Canada, as well as helped manage social media for the PDC. Over the course of four months, Sara will have the opportunity to strengthen her communication, critical thinking, research, and creative skills.

 

Sara recently graduated from the University of New Brunswick’s Renaissance College where she received a BPhil in Interdisciplinary Leadership with a minor in business and was awarded the title as the Most Hirable Graduate in New Brunswick by the Wallace McCain Institute. After having participated in the Pond-Deshpande Centre’s Student Ambassador Program, International Business and Entrepreneurship Centre’s Activator Program, and international travel to Bhutan, India and France, Sara has found a passion for social innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and culture.
