Rosa Ting Chen

As an a Financial Intern, Rosa is a Financial Assistant working with the Program Coordinator and is responsible for tracking and coordinating funding programs and entrepreneurial projects, organizing payments,  consolidating databases, assisting with events management and related duties.
 

Rosa has 5 years experience in marketing, business development and international trading prior to coming to the University of New Brunswick. She worked as Project Manager for New Tigers Consulting where she helped market-leading and start-up North American and European companies to establish and develop businesses in China. She has also served as China Marketing Manager for Canada Lithium Corp. where she secured more than $100 million sales revenue in off-take agreements for the company in China market.

 

Rosa has an MA in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor of English from Northeast Normal University in China.

 

She graduated with an MBA from UNB in May 2015. While in the program, she was President of the MBA Society and was selected as an Activator Leader in the International Business and Entrepreneurship Center in UNB.  Rosa continues to be very active in the entrepreneurial community, participating and volunteering for many activities and events.
